Heres the deal, you see that looser knight doing exori on rots up there? Its a lame banner, so we need a new one. In order to win, you guys have to make a banner that is 741px wide and 142px high. Then we will vote on them, and the better one will have the honor of being the new banner for the blog. There is no limit on how many you can make, just keep them Tibia related.

Ferumbras on Astera

Yes people, the great wizard known as Ferumbras has come to our world. What will happen? Will the great asteran heroes defeat this wicked mage? Stay tuned for updates.

UPDATE: It saddens me to inform that Ferumbras got away with his mischief. No team was able to defeat him. Some say its a matter of lag/kicks, others say Asterans arent organized enough and last but not least, theres a rant against the voc balancing ruining the chance to kill this evil-doer.

Dark Master Thriel retires

Yes, you’ve heard the title right. If your an avid forumer, you probably already knew about this, if not, heres your chance to find out. Our beloved Dark Master Thriel has decided to retire after 3 long years in Astera. He was part of the making of this server and now, we shall see him no more.

Heres and extract from his good bye thread:

Well I joined Astera near the beginning of the server, Since then I have made many friends and enemies, had many guilds and done many things. The memories of the people Ive met here I will carry on forever. I’ve decided that Tibia isn’t that important anymore, I barely play anymore and if I do Im going to play on a server were I have friends to play with and have fun. All my friends from this world have left, and now I have decided I shall to.

Yes, Im gonna give this another shot. Hopefully Asterans will like this idea as something other than the forums to create community.

Procedure

Heres how this is gonna work. At first, if you wanna post something, make an article about it and send it to asteranews@gmail.com I will then review it and post it here. Later on we will be adding more official authors. The point of this is to have a blog were we post news and other stuff but only about Astera, instead of all of Tibia. When you send me the article, I will also need your name (Char name is a must, Real name is optional), e-mail address (wich Ill have since you sent me the email) and, if you have one, website url.

Now get crackin’ asterans, make this something fun.
